    Communication is much more than just speech and words! We know that talking, listening and following directions are important stepping stones for later success.  We offer programs for parents, grandparents, babysitters and anyone who spends time with children from birth to five years of age.   • Liberty Lane's Family Violence Prevention Outreach Program

    We can meet one-on-one for safety planning  - how to increase your safety living with, or after having left, your partner; emotional support - we will listen and support you in any way we can; goal setting & action plans -  we can help you set goals & create action plans to achieve your goals; life skills training -  examples include assertiveness, self-esteem, resume & relationship skills; and referral to community services - we can help you access the services you need. We also offer group life skills training which includes assertiveness; family violence and the law information sessions; self-esteem; smoking cessation; and FASD. As well, we offer a self-help support group, and a resource centre with access to a library and computer.   • Child Health Intervention and Longitudinal Development (CHILD) Studies Program, University of New Brunswick

    The CHILD Studies Program aims to better understand the relationship between early caregiving experiences, parental stress, and children’s development.
